As I’ve stated elsewhere in my site I’m a bit smitten with outdoor gear, mostly jackets and hoodies with tents, backpacks and other gear a close second. Whether it's Bight Gear, Arc’teryx or Hyperlite Mountain Gear, I want to buy it, research it and talk about it. So please take advantage of my OCD on the subject and listen/read my reviews and blog posts and feel free to ask questions. That said I’ll be writing traditional blog posts, sometimes even with pictures! I’ll also be making videos albeit less regularly. Video editing...shoot me!

What’s unique about DilleyGear besides the name? Well I hope the perspective and content. In general I like adventure so whatever I buy has to do multiple things (although not really because I have many things, due to the you know…addiction). I bikepack, backpack, ice climb occasionally, XC or Nordic skiing, hiking and of course travel. Perhaps one day soon I’ll do a thru-hike, but I’ve got to find an outlet to my gearaholic-ness first before I can focus on anything else! Also, I’ll refer not just to the outdoors, but what’s it like living with this jacket or piece of gear. What does it look like in a backpack or stuffed with a sleeping bag...even though that is definitely not the jacket’s purpose!

I hope to have a minimum of 1-2 posts per week with one video every two to three weeks, but don’t hold me to it. I promise to be inconsistent but entertaining either through the quality of my content or the lack of quality of the content! That to you is a promise! Wait…didn’t I already say it’s a promise? SMH...the quality has already dropped.
